About Maryam

Maryam is an Associate Lawyer working primarily in the family law team at Northcote Lawyers. Since first joining the legal industry in 2014 as a paralegal, Maryam has demonstrated her commitment to excellence in all aspects of her work. She was admitted as an Australian Lawyer in 2018 after completing both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business.

Throughout her career, Maryam has been dedicated to expanding her expertise and has diligently represented clients in a variety of matters across the areas of family law, wills and estate planning, and immigration law.

With her friendly and personable approach, Maryam’s clients appreciate her ability to provide clear and concise advice in matters that are often complex or overwhelming. She is highly regarded for achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients by thinking laterally and working empathetically.

When not in the office, Maryam enjoys exploring the outdoors, discovering hidden cafes and spending time on the coast. She is also passionate about community welfare, social justice and global humanitarianism, and spends much of her free time volunteering with various charities and NFP organisations, and working with at-risk youth.
